ET It’s not too often that you get a chance to see the inside of a company that helps businesses grow and prosper.
But that’s exactly what happened when we sat down with CMS website hosting company Otos Hosting, which has a long history of helping companies take advantage of the latest in web hosting technology.
We got a chance last week to meet Otos’ CEO, Eric Nachter, and talk to him about what he’s learned since he started his company nearly two decades ago.
As part of our series on hosting, we asked Otos to share a few key takeaways about what to look for when deciding which hosting provider to use to grow your business.
We also took a look at some of the challenges the company has faced in the years since its founding.
The most common question we got from visitors was how Otos chose to become a part of CMS, and how Otios was able to stay relevant in the growing industry.
We asked Nacht, who was in the process of founding Otos with his brother, Eric, to share the basics of hosting.
He said Otos started out as a small web hosting provider, which he describes as a one-stop shop for web hosting.
It was in that era when web hosting was a big deal, and we felt like we could provide our customers with a high-quality hosting service, he said.
Today, the company hosts more than 7 million websites and has a network of more than 150,000 hosting partners, and the company boasts a long list of awards and accolades to its credit.
As a small company with a focus on the web, we did a lot of things in the early days that weren’t really what our clients wanted to do, Nach said.
For example, we didn’t want to have a large website hosting platform for them, he explained.
And then when they needed a larger site, we had to choose between hosting and hosting and more.
We tried to be a one stop shop for hosting, but at the end of the day we weren’t always sure how best to handle things.
And that was a problem, Nachi said.
One of the things that the business had to adjust to was that there were so many different types of hosting, NACHTER said.
In the early years, you had a huge number of hosting providers out there, and that meant that there wasn’t much choice for them.
Today, we have a great selection of hosting and are well positioned to offer the highest quality of service for all of our customers.
Otos has had a number of customers over the years, including the likes of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace, and more, and Nachters is excited to see how they have adapted to hosting today.
He said there are now a number more companies that are building large, scalable sites and that Otos has become a leader in that space.
One example of Otos offering a service that customers want is the company’s partnership with Google to host its data center, Nacho said.
The company recently became the first hosting provider in the U.S. to partner with Google, making it easier for its customers to host their own data centers, he added.
Nachters said Otens’ experience with Google has made it easier to get a feel for how Google works, and what they can do for you.
Otos was one of the first companies to partner on hosting with Google because we were able to bring the right hosting expertise, he noted.
We are very pleased with the performance of the new cloud hosting offerings coming out from Google, and it’s made our life easier,” he said, adding that Google also provides the best data center hosting services for our customers to use.
The fact that they also provide the best hosting for our websites and applications is just a bonus for our business.
We have had great success with our Google hosting partners because we are extremely confident that we will be able to provide the very best web hosting to our customers, Nachets said.
Otins own data center has been the companys largest cloud hosting location, and customers can access it from almost anywhere in the world, he emphasized.
